＜Ochi-ishi Nature Cruise PM＞ By Eagle
We have just started the seabird cruise operation of this summer. This is the special bird-watchig cruise which features especially northern seabirds of Japan. For reservation, please contact 0153-27-2772 .
Today, we had a very foggy weather, but beautiful breeding Rhinoceros Auklets, Spectacled Guillemots, Red-faced Cormorants, and a Brunnich's Guillemot and a lot divers(looms) could be watched. We also believe breeding Tufted Puffins & Horned Puffins will be here in the area called "Ochi-ishi" in Nemuro, Hokkaido very soon.
Black-throated Diver (Arctic Loon) sp(30+)
Short-tailed Shearwater or Sooty Shearwater (50+) *Very difficult to distinguish in dense fog.
Red-faced Cormorant （４＋） ＊A beautiful flying figures could be seen from the boat.
Spectacled Guillemot（br.１００＋） ＊Very easy to watch!
Rhinoceros Auklet（br.300+) *Very easy to watch! They are increasing in number.
